2016-17: Petakovic helped the second varsity eight to a fourth-place finish at Hamilton.

2015-16: Petakovic rowed in the novice eight which, took home first-place at Ithaca and the Liberty League Championships and third at the New York State Championships… The novice crew finished up the season with a first-place finish in the petite final at the NIRC Championships… The novice eight was selected as Liberty League Novice Crew of the Year.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Petakovic was a member of the swim team at Blue Valley North … He was a member of the 2014 Kansas State Championship team and a member of the State Runner-up team a year later … He was additionally an honor roll student.
