Andrew Kane was named Assistant Sports Information Director in August of 2021.
A Utica, New York native, Kane returns to the North Country after working as an assistant coach with the men’s and women’s cross country and track & field teams from 2018-2020.
Kane graduated from St. Lawrence in 2020 with his Master’s of Educational Leadership. Kane also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. During his time as a student, Kane captained the Hobart Cross Country team, and worked as a student worker in the Fitness Center.
As an assistant coach, Kane was a member of the 2018 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year, as the Saints won the Liberty League cross country title. Kane coached the 2018 women’s team and the 2019 men’s team to the NCAA National Championship Meets, where the women finished 29th, the men finished 15th, and two athletes earned All-American honors. He also worked with the sports information staff creating graphics and editing photos.
Kane is the sports information contact for field hockey, volleyball, cross country, basketball, swimming and diving, track and field, and softball.
