Tom Miller joined the men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach after several years as a successful educator and coach for secondary schools across the North Country. Miller coached at Edwards-Knox Central School, Indian River Central School and most recently Massena Central School. He was also a junior varsity coach at Knox Memorial Central School and Hammond Central School.

As a varsity coach, Miller amassed more than 400 career victories. He led the Edwards-Knox team to the New York State Final Four in 1988-89 after winning the league, Section X and Section X-VII North Country Championships. Since 1994, Miller has coached 13 Sectional Championship teams including the 2015-16 Massena Class A Section Champions.

The five-time league coach of the year has also won three Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) Coach of the Year awards.  In March 2017, Coach Miller will be inducted into the New York State Basketball Hall of Fame.
