2017: Earned the team's Co-Special Teams Player of the Week award vs. Utica September 2 and Defensive Player of the Week against SUNY Brockport on November 11 … Made a season-high seven tackles and recorded an 11-yard sack vs. Brockport … Ranked third on the team with a career-high 46 tackles on the season.

2016: Arens was good for 39 tackles, including 22 solo tackles during his junior year with the Saints, which placed him seventh and fifth on the team, respectively… He recorded two sacks for 11 yards and six broken-up passes.

2015: Arens saw a majority of his action as a member of the special team units for the Saints … He was named the St. Lawrence special teams player of the week in week four and then earned the award again in week seven as a member of the punt return unit and in week eight for his role with the kickoff return unit.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Arens was a stand-out football player, captaining the squad his senior season while earning All-League honors. The Centerport, NY native, who was named the Most Valuable Player of the CHSFL Championship game, was chosen to play in the league's Senior Bowl Game as well.
