Prior to St. Lawrence

The captain of the Mohonasen High School football team as a senior, Reinke earned First-Team All-Conference honors as an offensive lineman as a junior and as a tight end as a senior. He was also a member of the basketball team. An honor roll student, Reinke was a member of the National Honor Society, and the Spanish and Science Honor Societies and graduated in the top-10 percent of his class.
