2013: Nwaigwe emerged as one of the standout defensive players in the country in his senior year, as he was named a First Team All-America by BSN, Second Team All-East Region and First-Team All-Liberty League.  He finished in the top-5 nationally and led the conference in sacks and tackles for a loss, while Obi was also first and 10th in the league in forced fumbles and tackles, respectively.  He was named the Liberty League's Defensive Performer of the Week following the win over Rochester in which he made 5.0 tackles for a loss including 3.0 sacks.

2012: Nwaigwe was primarily a special teams player in his junior year, recording nine tackles in eight games.  He will look to contribute to the Saints' defense as a senior in 2013.

2011: Nwaigwe appeared in nine games in his sophomore season where he recorded 13 tackles.  

2010: Nwaigwe served as a valuable scout team player in his first season.  He is expected to move to linebacker and compete for playing time in his sophomore campaign.

At Valley Stream South
Nwaigwe was a decorated four-sport student-athlete, as he participated in Football, Track and Field, Volleyball and Basketball. The Valley Stream, NY native was All-State and the District Champion in the high jump and was a two-time All-County basketball selection.
