Prior to St. Lawrence

Gigantelli played football and lacrosse at Pittsford High School. He earned All-County honors twice for football and was a weekly Class AA Defensive Player of the Week. He also earned All-County honors for lacrosse and was voted to the Section V Class A All-Tournament team. He was an honors graduate and won scholar athlete honors.
