Prior to St. Lawrence

Perkins was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball at Plattsburgh High School. Perkins captained the football and basketball teams and was named Section 7 Division 1 All-Star Pitcher and Section 7 Honorable Mention Quarterback. Perkins was also on the honor roll in all four years of high school.
