Prior to St. Lawrence

Morrison was an outstanding all-around student-athlete at Wyalusing Valley. He was a two-way player for the football team, setting the program record for receptions in a season and earning First-Team All-NTL and First-Team All-District at tight end. He was also a First-Team All-NTL and Second-Team All-District defensive end. He was also a First-Team All-NTL and First-Team All-Region selection and 1,000-point scorer for the basketball team and earned Third-Team All-Region honors for the baseball team. The valedictorian of his class, Morrison was a member of the National Honor Society and a high honor roll student.
