2013: Metzgar served as a back-up quarterback in his junior year, playing against WPI, Hobart and Merchant Marine. He will look to push Mike Lefflbine for playing time in the fall of 2014.

2012: Metzgar appeared in eight games in his sophomore season, starting in the last four at quarterback. He threw 113 complete passes for 1258 yards and nine touchdowns and will compete for a starting spot next season.

2011: Metzgar did not see any game time in his first year with the Saints, but will compete for a spot in the line-up next season.

At Dexter/Pomfret School
Metzgar played both football and basketball, earning Evergreen League All-Conference honors twice for his play on the gridiron. The Natick, MA native captained the football squad at Dexter in his senior season before heading to the Pomfret School as a post-grad year.
