Tom Blumenauer

Tom Blumenauer, a 2007 graduate of Ithaca College, joined the St. Lawrence football staff in the fall of 2010.

Blumenauer, who served as the Saints' wide receivers coach over the past two years, will become the quarterbacks coach for the 2012 campaign.  He came to Canton, NY, having served as the head coach for the junior varsity football team at Dr. Anna Shaw Middle School in Philadelphia, PA since 2007.  Blumenauer was a physical education and health teacher at Dr. Anna Shaw, working with students in grades 7 and 8.

Blumenauer spent one season playing tight end at UConn before transferring to Ithaca College in 2004.  Tom was an outside linebacker and free safety, earning Empire 8 All-Star status and All-East Region honors in 2006.  After completing his playing career, Blumenauer took to the sidelines as a student assistant coach for Ithaca for the 2007 campaign.
