Patrick Moynahan

Patrick Moynahan was named the Defensive Coordinator for the St. Lawrence University football team in July of 2023.

Moynahan spent last season as a defensive assistant at Boise State University and prior to his time with the Broncos, he spent nearly six years as the defensive assistant at Stanford University. He replaces Jacob Lees, who left St. Lawrence to take an administrative position at Hobart College.

Prior to his arrival at Stanford, Moynahan spent four seasons at Kenyon, leading the Lords' linebacker corps. Moynahan also served as an assistant coach with Kenyon's track and field team.

As a student-athlete, he played four seasons at Davidson, was a team captain and a two-time All-Pioneer League selection. As a senior in 2012, he set school records in single-season (122) and single-game (22) tackles.

Through four years at Davidson, Moynahan started in 33 straight games at middle linebacker and earned three varsity letters.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Classics from Davidson and a Master's of Liberal Arts from Stanford.
