John Morton '11 joined the St. Lawrence University coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2015 season. The former wide receiver at St. Lawrence works with the Saints' tight ends.

He helped tight end Mitch Gallagher '17 break the school record for most career touchdowns with 29; Gallagher was a two-time First-Team All-Liberty League selection and a D3Football.com All-America in 2016.

Morton played four seasons for the Saints from 2007-10 and was a member of the NCAA Tournament team in 2010 that won a Liberty League title with a 5-1 league mark.

After graduating with a degree in Psychology in 2011, Morton joined the coaching staff at his alma mater Penfield High.
