2016: As a junior, Maistrellis returned from injury to play in six games as defensive back, recording five total tackles, including a season-high four on September 2
nd vs. Morrisville.
2015: Maistrellis was injured in the preseason but did make it back to play in the final game of the year at Mount Union … He had a pair of tackles in the NCAA Playoff game.
2014: Maistrellis appeared in nine games as a first year defensive back for the Saints … He finished ninth on the team with 24 tackles including 18 solo stops … He added three pass breakups … He recorded a season-high eight tackles and also had two pass breakups in the win over WPI … He led the Saints with 14 kickoff returns for 297 yards and an average of 21.21 yards per return.
Prior to St. Lawrence
Maistrellis was a stand-out athlete, competing on both the football and track and field teams. The Peabody, Mass. native was a captain for both his team and the Harry Agganis All-Star game and was honored by the Boston Globe and Boston Globe as a football All-Star. Charlie also captained the track and field team, was a three-time Most Valuable Performer and owns the school record in both the 55m and 300m dash.
