Prior to St. Lawrence

A First-Team All-State selection at Rice Memorial, Lamontagne was the team captain and MVP and earned a spot at the Vermont North/South All-Star Game. He was also the captain and a First-Team All-League player for the lacrosse team. Lamontagne was also a member of the National Honor Society, an honor roll student and a volunteer for the Committee on Temporary Shelter and worked with children at the King Street Center.
