2015: Barnes earned all of his playing time on the special teams units for the Saints as a sophomore and also worked with the scout teams … He had a pair of tackles on special teams.

2014: Barnes did not see action as a defensive back in his first year with the Saints.

Barnes was a three-sport student-athlete, playing on the football, lacrosse and wrestling teams. The Rome, NY native captained the wrestling squad and was selected all-league for that sport as well.
