St. Lawrence University Athletics

2016: As a senior kicker, Carvalho was good on 38-of-38 extra point attempts… He currently holds the record for 122 career conversion kicks and the record for 42 conversion kicks in a season at St. Lawrence.

2015: Carvalho led the Liberty League with 42 extra points and added three field goals for 51 total points scored … His long field goal was a 29-yarder in the win over RPI … He also connected on a 21 yarder against Springfield and a 27 yarder against Hobart … He was good on 42-of-44 extra point attempts and finished the season with a streak of 22 consecutive kicks … His 42 extra points in a season broke the school record of 37 set in 1978 by Dick Stevens … Carvalho earned a spot on the Liberty League All-Academic team.

2014: Carvalho was the primary field goal and extra point kicker for the Saints as a sophomore …  He connected on four field goals and 35 extra points to finish second on the team with 47 points … He made one field goal each in four different games with a long of 36 yards in the Rochester game … He was a perfect 35-35 in PAT attempts finishing just two shy of the school record 37 kicks made by Dick Stevens in 1978 … Combined with the end of the 2013 season, Carvalho has a streak of 40 straight kicks made heading into his junior year.

2013: Carvalho closed out his rookie season as the starting place kicker for St. Lawrence...  He was named the Liberty League's Rookie of the Week after the Saints won the Hoffman Cup against Merchant Marine, as Carvalho hit his first career field goal (22 yards) and was a perfect 4-for-4 on extra point tries.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Carvalho was an active student-athlete, playing football and soccer while taking Tae Kwon Do.  He was inducted into the National Honor Society.
