2013: Shawna played in two games for the Saints in her first season at SLU.

A two-year all-county selection in field hockey, Shawna played both field hockey and ice hockey and captained the field hockey team as a junior and senior. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and earned High Honor Roll. She started her collegiate career with two seasons at Slippery Rock University.
