Prior to St. Lawrence

Lake was a member of the field hockey, alpine skiing and track and field teams at Johnstown...She captained and received Coach's Awards from all three programs...In addition, Lake was named Most Improved in both field hockey and track and field, as well as Most Dedicated on the alpine ski team...She garnered First- and Second-Team Foothills All-Star honors in field hockey, was a member of the Section II New York State team in alpine and was also a member of the three-time sectional champion 4x800 relay team with track and field...She finished top-10 in her class and was a member of the National Honor Society and a high honor roll student.
