Carthy was three-sport athlete in high school, playing on the field hockey, ice hockey and lacrosse teams at Burr and Burton...She was named a Marble Valley First-Team All-Star in field hockey and also made the Vermont Twin State Team...Additionally, Carthy captained the ice hockey team in her junior and senior seasons and was named a Regional All-Star.
