St. Lawrence University Athletics

2015: Syron was a first team All-Liberty League team member as a senior with a .336 average in 37 games and 131 at bats for St. Lawrence. He led the team in RBI (29), runs scored (25), home runs (2), stolen bases (21) and walks (22). He also added five doubles and two triples, with a team best .473 slugging percentage. In the field he recorded 72 putouts and had a .938 fielding percentage.

2014: Syron played started all 32 games for St. Lawrence and finished with a .274 batting average with eight extra-base hits. He was tied for the team lead in both triples (3) and home runs (2) and also added three doubles. He drove in 16 runs, scored 24 more and was 9-for-12 in stolen base attempts.

2013: Mark hit .323 in 32 games for the Saints as a sophomore, drove in 10 runs and scored 28. He had eight doubles and a homer and led the team in hit-by-pitch with 10. He was 13 for 15 in steals and perfect in the field on 26 chances.

2012: Mark was off to an excellent start to his collegiate career before being sidelined by injury. He hit .344 in 14 games, scoring nine runs and driving in 14. He had a double and two homers and was two for three in stolen bases. He was also perfect in 13 chances in the field.

At Westhill: Mark played baseball and hockey and was a two-time first team all league selection, a second team All Central New York all star and captain of the team. He was 2010 MVP for the New York State Championship team.
