Proffitt played baseball and hockey at Worcester Academy before continuing both sports at Avon Old Farms… He earned Founder’s League Honorable Mention and served as a team captain… Academically, Proffitt was recognized on the Honor Roll… He also played summer baseball for the Nokona Chiefs, earning multiple All-Tournament Team honors at events including WWBA, BCS, NEC, and the Fourth of July Classic… Outside of athletics, Proffitt worked for Kings Landscaping and volunteered with Challenger Baseball and the Worcester County Food Bank.
