Chris Haynes

Chris Haynes will be entering his fourth year at St Lawrence University in the fall of 2014.   Haynes helped coach the Saints to a school record in wins and to a regular season championship in 2012 and followed that up with a third place regular season finish in 2013.

Chris was a three-year regular at catcher for the Division I LeMoyne College Dolphins in Syracuse, NY.  He held a .292 career batting average, with 14 homeruns, 73 runs scored and 83 runs batted in.  In 2008, he hit .353 with 7 homeruns and 33 RBI.  Also, he tied the NCAA Division 1 record for homeruns in the same inning with two against St. Peters in 2008.

A Manlius, NY native, Haynes graduate from LeMoyne in 2009, where he earned his degree in Business Marketing.  He completed his master's degree in Educational Leadership at St. Lawrence University in the spring of 2013. 

Before coaching at St. Lawrence, he was the bullpen catcher for the Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple A farm team for the Washington Nationals.  This past summer, Haynes was the manager for the Syracuse Jr. Chiefs of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. Following the 2015 season, Haynes will be coaching the Newark Pilots of the Perfect Game Collegiate Summer League.
