Prior to St. Lawrence

Van Slyke was a member of the Alpine ski team at Northwood. He earned the 2020 Northwood Mark "Dill" Driscoll Ski Award and was a NYSSRA Sally Davis Scholar Athlete Award recipient. Van Slyke was also a high honor roll student.
