Merrick-Pinkard Track
The Merrick-Pinkard Track, originally opened in 1999, was resurfaced in the summer of 2013. It features a nine-lane 400-meter outdoor facility which includes jump pits, javelin runways and shot and discus circles with a hammer facility just a short walk away. The complex, which is overlooked by Leckonby Stadium, hosted the NCAA Division III Championships in 2003 and will again host the national championships in May of 2015.
A total of 10 NCAA meet records were set in the 2003 championship and 17 of the standing facility records for women and 19 of the records for men were set in the 2003 Championship.
