Prior to St. Lawrence

Caprood was a two-time MVP of her track team and a Second-Team All-League performer at Queensbury. The captain of both the track and gymnastics teams, Caprood was a four-sport athlete, also participating in soccer and dance. She was on the Principal's List for all four years in high school, was the Student of the Quarter in mathematics, and was a member of the National Honor Society.
