Biography

2018-19 Season

Played in all 36 games … Led the team with 11 goals and added 12 assists for 23 points … Finished second among the team's forwards with 35 blocked shots … Posted a seven-game point streak from Oct. 27 – Nov. 24, including a two-goal performance in a 4-0 win over Syracuse on Nov. 24 … Registered a goal and an assist in a 4-2 win over Union on Jan. 11 and a 2-2 tie with Quinnpiaic on Nov. 22 … Earned ECAC Hockey All-Academic honors … Finished her career with 40 goals and 55 assists for 95 points in 138 collegiate games, including 21 goals and 26 assists for 47 points in 70 games in a St. Lawrence uniform.

2017-18 Season

Played in all 35 games in her first year at St. Lawrence, finishing fourth on the team in all three scoring categories with 10 goals, 14 assists and 24 points … Posted five multi-point games on the season … First goal as a Saint was the game-winner in a 3-1 win over fifth-ranked Colgate on Oct. 28 … Scored two goals and added two assists in a 6-3 win at Brown on Nov. 3 … Also had a four-point performance with a goal and three assists in a 5-0 win over Dartmouth on Feb. 17.

Prior to St. Lawrence

Smith transferred to St. Lawrence after playing at Mercyhurst for two seasons. She was the College Hockey America Rookie of the Year and a member of the conference's All-Rookie Team in 2015-16. She led the Lakers in scoring her rookie year with 11 goals and 18 assists for 29 points and added eight goals and 11 assists last season. Prior to attending Mercyhurst, she helped lead Team Ontario's U18 squad to a silver medal at the national championships.

In addition to hockey, Smith was a member of Team Canada's U19 national floorball team which won silver at the U19 International Floorball Federation tournament. She was named the team's MVP in a game vs. Thailand in 2016.
