Biography

2017-18: Gicewicz finished fourth on the team in scoring and became the first player to record four assists in a game since the 2014-15 season in a 5-2 win over Colgate on February 9...He started the second half of the season with a seven-game point streak, recording seven goals and two assists from January 5 to January 26...He was a member of the ECAC Hockey All-Academic team and finished the season with 18 points on eight goals and 10 assists.

2016-17: Gicewicz scored nine goals and added eight assists for 17 point in his rookie season, including two goals in front of his hometown crowd in the 3-3 tie at Canisius in Buffalo…He started the second semester on a four-game point streak and finished the season with two game-winning goals against Princeton and RPI.

Prior to St. Lawrence 
Gicewicz played both hockey and lacrosse at Nichols and was two-time MVP for the lacrosse, winning the award in both 2013 and 2015...In hockey, he was the team's MVP in 2015, as well as the Prep Talk WNY Hockey Player of the Year while serving as the team's assistant captain...Additionally, he was an honor roll student all four years...In the year before joining the Saints, Gicewicz started the season with the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League before he was traded to Sioux Falls Stampede...He combined for 18 points on seven goals and 11 assists in 62 games played.
