Prior to St. Lawrence
Terhune was a member of an All-State 4x400 relay and won sectional titles in the 800, 4x400 and 4x800 at Culver Academies. She captained both the cross country and track and field teams, and also competed on the basketball and swimming teams. She graduated with honors in visual arts and was a member of the Spanish and Fine Arts Honors Socities.
