2017: Earned weekly team honors three times (Co-Special Teams Player of the Week on September 2, Defensive Player of the Week on September 16, and Keep Swinging award on November 4) … Made 45 tackles to rank fourth on the team … Recorded a season-high nine tackles and intercepted a pass against Ithaca on September 16 … Earned Liberty League All-Academic honors.
2016: Garrity played in all ten games for the Saints during his junior year…He finished the season with 10 tackles including four solo stops… He recorded two solo tackles against Springfield and Rochester…Garrity was also named a member of the Liberty League All-Academic Team.
2015: Garrity saw limited playing time until late in the season when he replaced the injured Alec Dietsch … In three late-season starts, he recorded 11 tackles in each of the WPI and Merchant Marine games and also had seven tackles in the Hobart game … He finished the season with 38 tackles, eight for loss and four sacks and also contributed a fumble recovery and interception and had three quarterback hurries … He was named the co-Defensive Player of the Game in week 8 and earned the Liberty League Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 2 … He also earned a spot on the Liberty League All-Academic squad.
2014: Garrity appeared in nine games but was limited to just one carry in his first year with the Saints … His one rush was a three-yard gain in the win over Springfield … He also saw significant action on defense and finished with 21 tackles including 14 solo stops … He added a pass breakup and a forced fumble.
Prior to St. Lawrence
Garrity was a dual-sport athlete, playing on the football and baseball teams. The Middletown, Conn. native thrived on the football field, where he served as a team captain and earned both All-State and All-Conference honors.
