Prior to St. Lawrence
Edkins was a four-time district champion and four-time state medalist as a diver at Lake-Lehman. A team captain, he was also a PIAA Scholar-Athlete Award winner, a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student. Edkins was also a member of the track and field team in high school.
