Prior to St. Lawrence

Coleman was the captain of his cross country team and a NEPSTA Division 4 All-Star. He finished 17th in the 17-19 year old division of the 2019 Team USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships and qualified for the 2021 World Championships in Edmonton.
