Prior to St. Lawrence

Uriarte was a member of the gymnastics and track and field teams at Wilton High School. She earned All-Americ honors in gymnastics and finished sixth at the Connecticut state championships in the triple jump. She also excelled in the classroom as a four-year honor roll student.
