2013: Schmidt remained a valuable asset to the St. Lawrence offense in his junior year, as he helped anchor a line that allowed a league-low three sacks.  The Amherst, NY native, who started in all 10 games for the Scarlet and Brown, earned All-Conference Honorable Mention for the second straight year.

2012: Schmidt proved to be a key component along the Saints' offensive line in his sophomore season, playing in all 10 games and earning a starting spot in nine.  The Amherst, NY native earned Liberty League Honorable Mention status for his play during the 2012 campaign, and he will look to anchor the front five next fall.

2011:  Schmidt worked his way into the starting line-up in the second half of his rookie season.  He will look to secure a starting spot on the offensive line as a sophomore.  

At Amherst Central
Schmidt was a four-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, golf and baseball. The Amherst, NY native earned Western New York All-Star honors for both his play on the gridiron and on the basketball court.
