Prior to St. Lawrence 

Wells was a tri-sport athlete participating in ice hockey, field hockey and lacrosse at Gunnery. She was a team captain for field hockey and lacrosse and earned Western New England Prep School Field Hockey Association (WNEPSFHA) All-Star Team and Women's Lacrosse WNEPSFHA All-Star Team honors... She was also a All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention in field hockey, as well as an honor roll and high honor roll student... Wells is the daughter of head women's hockey coach Chris Wells '92.
