Prior to St. Lawrence

Ogetti was a member of the soccer and rugby teams and was a house captain at Aiglon College, a boarding school in Switzerland. He also received the Vitrus Award and was an honor roll and merit roll student. At Starehe Boys Center in Nairobi, he was the schools' top K.C.S.E. performer.
