Joey Degnan shot six over par to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after two rounds at the Williams Fall Invitational at the par-71 Taconic Golf Course on Saturday in Williamstown, Mass.
Degnan shot one-under par (70) in round one and seven over (78) in the second to finish day one of the tournament in a tie for 26th place at six over. He finished the first two rounds with six birdies, five of them in the first round.
Kevin Dillon shot a 149 (71, 78) over two rounds to tie for 30th, while
Charles Novak shot a 150 (78, 72) and is tied for 32nd.
Conlin Bradshaw is tied for 49
th with a 154, while
Morgan Barbuto sits in 88th with a 168.
St. Lawrence shot a combined 601 (297, 304) to finish in 11
th after the first two rounds. Trinity leads in the team scring with a 574, while three golfers from Trinity, Amherst and Middlebury are tied for first at one under.
