St. Lawrence University football has released its slate of graduate assistant coaches for the 2026 season, as announced by Stephen P. Munn '64 head football coach Dan Puckhaber this week.
Jacob Calabro joins the staff as wide receivers coach, Addison Darcy becomes assistant offensive line coach and tight ends coach, Dominic Filippo will lead cornerbacks and serve as defensive backs assistant, and Brandon Wolfkiel joins as linebackers coach.
"We are excited to bring four assistant coaches to Canton. Jacob, Addison, Dominic and Brandon will serve as valuable additions to the coaching staff this season, each bringing their unique perspectives and experience to our program," said Puckhaber.
Calabro joins the Saints after a career at VTSU Castleton, where he was a two-time all-conference all-academic member and earned a spot on the 2025 CSC academic all-district squad for football. The sports and business management double major also brings experience in sport operations, having served as audio coordinator for the Nashua Silver Knights baseball team in the FCBL in 2025.
Darcy, a native of State College, Pa., joins St. Lawrence after wrapping up a career on the offensive line at Austin Peay State University. He also spent time with Lindenwood, Lackawanna College and New Hampshire during his collegiate football career.
Filippo comes to Canton after serving on the staff at Moravian University from 2023-2025. Under his guidance, the Greyhounds went 7-4 in his first year running the defense, following a 3-7 season the year before his arrival. He was also a student assistant coach at John Carroll University from 2019-2022.
Wolfkiel joins the Scarlet and Brown following a stint at Indian River High School in Philadelphia, N.Y., as offensive and defensive line coach. He also gained coaching experience at Gloversville High School and served as assistant defensive line coach at Liberty League foe Union from 2023-2024. His five-year playing career took him to VTSU Castleton, where he played on the defensive line. The Sackets Harbor, N.Y. native returned to the North Country this past summer to play in the Northeast Football Alliance with the Watertown Red & Black.
The four newcomers are among the St. Lawrence coaches currently leading the Saints' training camp. Players reported Tuesday, August 11. The Saints open their season Friday, September 4, in Northfield, Vt., for the Hoffman Cup Game.
