Rising Senior outfielder Jack Finnegan was named to the NCAA Division III Region III All-Defensive Team, as announced by the ABCA on Thursday afternoon.

Finnegan was nothing short of electrifying for the Saints this season at the plate, on the basepaths, and in center field. Finnegan was flawless defensively for the Saints from his post in the outfield to earn his defensive team distinction. The two-sport star recorded 71 putouts without committing an error and tacked on three assists.

The honor comes as Finnegan finished the year with five triples, ranking him in the top 20 nationally. He slashed .368/.437/.588 and ranked second on the team with a 1.025 OPS and was a perfect 18-for-18 in stolen base attempts. His five triples tied him for the third-most in a single season in program history alongside Nicholas Butler '22.

Finnegan was also named to the All-Liberty League Second-Team this season for his efforts.
