The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team finished the 2025–26 season with a 14-13 overall record and an 11-7 mark in Liberty League play, capping the year with a playoff run that came down to the final possessions as they returned to the conference semifinal for the fourth consecutive season.
The Saints were dominant at home, going 10-2 at Burkman Gymnasium over the course of the season. That edge carried into the postseason, where St. Lawrence knocked off Ithaca 72-64 in a home playoff game before falling to top-ranked Rensselaer 62-58 in a game that St. Lawrence stayed in until the final moments.
Adam Dudzinski headlined a strong senior class, earning Liberty League All-League First Team honors and NABC All-Region recognition. He reached 1,000 career points in their game against Clarkson in January and capped his college career by competing in the NABC Division III Collegiate All-Star Game in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Dan Anderson was named to the All-League Third Team.
Off the stat sheet, the senior group left an equally strong impression.
"We had a great group of guys who possessed tremendous chemistry, leadership and resolve," said head coach
Chris Downs. "Adam, Dan,
Chris Downs Jr. and
Charlie VonOehsen were off the charts with helping the younger players navigate a long and difficult season."
