Baseball Performer of the Week: John Gannon
Senior slugger
John Gannon was mashing for the Saints this past week and led the team to a sweep against Clarkson and to the program's first playoff berth since 2013. The senior went 12-for-22 from the dish, hit three home runs in three straight games, four doubles, had six RBI, nine runs scored, and went 3-for-3 stealing bases, along with playing great defense at first base. Â
Women's Tennis Singles Performer of the Week: Angelica Aksdal-Jansen
Angelica Aksdal-Jansen played number one for the Saints in their 4-3 win versus Union on Sunday and won her matchup 6-4, 6-2 against Skyler Semon.Â
Men's Track & Field Track Performer of the Week: Nick Lyndaker
Lyndaker headlined the evening for the Saints this past weekend, setting an outdoor program record in the mile run with a time of 4:03.63. With his outing, he now ranks No. 4 in the 1500-meter run's NCAA performance list, with his mile time converted. It is also 10th all-time on the USTFCCCA list.Â
