Ben DeBiase and Gabe Ward both shot a 77 to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round one of the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational, hosted by Skidmore, on Saturday afternoon.

Both DeBiase and Wade tied for 31st, as they shot six over par at the par-71 Ballston Spa Country Club. Ward eagled hole three and birdied holes 11 and 12.

Conlin Bradshaw sits 39th shooting a 78, while Jimmy King sits in 53rd with a 79. Kevin Dillon shot an 84 and sits in 85th.

St. Lawrence shot a combined 311 and sits in ninth place after round one. Amherst leads the pack heading into round two with a 294.
