Jimmy King dropped four strokes off his score from round one to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team to a second-place finish at the St. Lawrence University Fall Invite at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course.
King shot two over par on the weekend and moved up four places during round two to finish in third place with a 146.
First-year
Conlin Bradshaw dropped nine strokes during round two and moved up 18 spots to tie for seventh place with a 151, shooting four birdies on Sunday.
George Sherbrooke and
Colin Kagan tied for 13th with a 153, while
Gabe Ward tied for 16th with a 155.
St. Lawrence's 'A' squad moved from third into second, shooting a combined 609 (308, 301) on the weekend. The Saints 'B' squad finished fifth with a 626 (313, 313).
Clarkson took the team title with a 599 (301, 298), while the Golden Knights Ryan Makowski claimed the individual title with a 143 (70, 73), shooting one under on the weekend.
