Senior George Sherbrooke led the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round one of the St. Lawrence University Fall Invite on Saturday at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course.

Sherbrooke, who golfed on the Saints 'B' team, shot two over par with a 74. Jimmy King tied for seventh with a 75, while Gabe Ward tied for 10th with a 76.

St. Lawrence's 'A' squad ended day one in third place with a 308, sitting seven strokes behind Clarkson in first with a 301 and three strokes behind Hobart with a 305.

The 'B' squad finished round one in fifth place with a 313.
