First-year Conlin Bradshaw and sophomore Kevin Dillon tied for second place, shooting par, to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team in their season opener at the Clarkson Invitational on Wednesday.

Both Bradshaw and Dillon shot a 72, while Ben DeBiase shot a 73, good for fourth place, putting three Saints in the top five.

Connor Murphy tied for seventh with a 75, while Ben Glass tied for 14th with a 78. Jimmy King and Owen Donovan tied for 19th with a 79 to close out the top 20 for the Saints.

Both St. Lawrence's 'A' and 'B' teams combined for a 305 on the afternoon, tying for second place with Clarkson's 'A' team, while SUNY Canton's 'A' team took first with a 301.

The Saints will be back in action at their home invitational this weekend at the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday.
