Ben DeBiase and Gabe Ward each shot a 75 and tied for 18th place to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after round one of the Bowdoin Invitational at the Brunswick Golf Course on Sunday.

Ward birdied holes 12 and 15, while DeBiase birdied holes three and eight, as they both ended the day three over par.

Conlin Bradshaw tied for 24th with a 76, while Kevin Dillon and Jimmy King both finished round one with a 77 and tied for 29th.

St. Lawrence tied for fifth out of 17 teams with Drew after round one with a 303.Amherst leads the team leaderboard with a 294.
