Gabe Ward shot a 149 through two rounds to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team after day one of the Williams Fall Invitational at the Taconic Golf Course on Saturday afternoon.

Playing two rounds on Saturday, Ward shot a 72 during round one and a 77 during round two to end day one with a 149, tying for 15th place.

Jimmy King shot a combined 154 (76, 78) to tie for 38th with a 154, while Ben DeBiase shot a 156 with a 78 during both rounds, and Kevin Dillon tied for 66th with a 161 (83, 78).

St. Lawrence ended day one in 12th place with a combined 620 (309, 311). Babson holds down first place with a 576 (293, 283).
