Ben DeBiase and
Conlin Bradshaw tied for ninth place after round one of the Duke Nelson Invitational to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team at the par-71 Ralph Myhre Golf Course on Saturday in Middlebury, Vt.
Both DeBiase and Bradshaw birdied four holes on Saturday afternoon, as they tied for 11th with four other golfers, shooting three-over par on the day.
Jimmy King shot 78 to tie for 46th, while
Gabe Ward both shot a 79 and tied for 56th place.
Kevin Dillon shot a 93 and sits in 105th after round one.
After round one, the Saints sit in a three-way tie for fifth place with Bowdoin and Middlebury, all shooting a combined 305. Babson holds down the first-place spot with a 296 heading into round two. Â
The Saints will tee off for round two of the Duke Nelson Invitational on Sunday, September 14 at 9 a.m.
