The St. Lawrence University women's track and field team enjoyed a strong 2024–25 campaign, highlighted by two team victories and a number of individual personal bests across both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
The Saints claimed first-place team finishes at the Saints Holiday Relays and the SLU Open, demonstrating their depth and competitive consistency throughout the year.
Avery Blanchard had a breakout season, capturing multiple event wins and setting a personal record in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:15.18 at the Utica Winter Open. That performance earned her qualification to the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships (AARTFC). Blanchard was one of several Saints to qualify for the AARTFC Indoor Championships.
Quinn Sirgany qualified in the mile, while the distance medley relay team of Sirgany, Adriana Cecchetelli, Blanchard, and Cameran Stone clocked a time of 13:05.70 at the St. Lawrence Invitational to earn a qualifying mark and a first-place finish.
Carly Zack opened the season with a win in the 1000-meter run, finishing in 3:11.63. Amelia Berthold recorded a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles, running 9.87 at both the St. Lawrence Invitational and the SLU Open. Cecchetelli, Paige Poirier, and Blanchard all set personal bests in the 3000-meter run, while Sirgany posted a new PR in the mile at the Fastrack National Invitational.
In the field events, Berthold also notched a personal best in the high jump by clearing 1.50 meters. Lyla Baldwin added a new personal best in the long jump, reaching 4.49 meters.
