The Saints dominated the bottom of the order as the St. Lawrence University men's squash team defeated Chatham 6-3 on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Amherst.
St. Lawrence saw their record improve to 8-7 with the victory.
At one, Gregory Malsang continued his dominant play sweeping his opponent Sebastian Vaca Sanchez 11-6, 11-3, 11-5.
Down further in the order,
Miguel Posada Villa took on Alejandro Cruz in the fifth spot and after going down 2-0 early, the newcomer stormed back winning the next three 12-10, 11-9, 11-8 to take the win.
At six,
Athrva Yadav relinquished just one game to Brett Poles and offered a gentleman's sweep taking the last three games 11-4, 11-3, 11-6 for the victory.
Gavin Cassidy authored the Saints' second sweep of the day at seven against Keyel Beasley beating his opposition 11-9, 11-2, 11-5.
In the eighth spot,
Alix du Plessis was in a see-saw affair with Obed Roman Garcia trading match wins en route to a winner-take-all fifth game. The senior claimed the win, taking the last game 12-10.
Henry Worden scored a win by default at nine to make it a 6-3 win.
The Scarlet and Brown will play their final match of the regular season tomorrow when they travel to Franklin & Marshall for a noon match.
